1. Nature of Service

Bookwright is an automated creative writing assistance tool. It is not a publisher, legal advisor, or copyright clearance service. All generated content is entirely fictional and intended solely for creative purposes. Bookwright makes no warranties regarding originality, accuracy, or copyright clearance of any generated content.

2. User Responsibility

Users retain exclusive responsibility for all content they review, edit, export, or publish. Before publication, users must ensure content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property right, does not constitute defamation or misrepresentation of any person or organization, and does not violate applicable laws in any jurisdiction.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookwright assumes zero liability for any damages or legal actions arising from content generated, published, or distributed by users. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bookwright against any third-party claims arising from their use of the platform.

4. Content Protocols

Bookwright supports creative fiction across all genres including mature themes and complex moral territory. The system prohibits generation of instructional content designed to facilitate real-world harm regardless of fictional framing. Bookwright reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. DMCA Policy

If you believe generated content infringes your copyright, contact sheridan@cannibus-ny.com with: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.

6. Billing & Refunds

All paid plans are billed upfront and renew monthly. Subscriptions are non-refundable once the service has been used, but you can cancel anytime. Not satisfied? Contact sheridan@cannibus-ny.com within 24 hours of your purchase and we'll make it right. Revision credits and chapter credit packs are one-time purchases and never expire.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in New York state or federal courts.
